What companion care includes

Companion care focuses on connection, routine, and everyday support.

  • Conversation and social connection to reduce loneliness and the feeling of isolation

  • Company during meals and daily routines

  • Walks, hobbies, games, and shared activities

  • Accompaniment to appointments or outings

  • Meal planning and/or preparation

  • Medication assistance

  • Light housekeeping and everyday household help

  • Support with errands such as groceries or pharmacy pick-ups

  • Assistance after a hospital stay or during recovery

  • Reassurance for families that someone trusted is present
